The problem
For the last decade, contractors have been bled dry by shared-lead marketplaces like HomeAdvisor, Angi, and Thumbtack. The model is straightforward and ugly: a homeowner submits a request, the marketplace sells that lead to 3-8 contractors, and the contractors are forced into a race-to-the-bottom pricing war. The homeowner gets bombarded with phone calls, the contractors waste hours chasing the same job, and the marketplace pockets the fee.
On top of that, lead quality is often poor. Homeowners are incentivized to submit requests casually because there's no commitment required. Contractors end up paying for tire-kickers, no-shows, and out-of-area leads. The result: a $3,000/month ad budget that produces zero ROI.
Our solution
LeadPipe AI delivers exclusive leads — one homeowner, one contractor, no bidding war. We pull leads from multiple sources: our own homeowner intake form (the actual product being sold), community boards, classifieds, and direct outreach to homeowners who have publicly posted that they need a service.
Every lead is matched to a single contractor in the matching trade and city. The contractor sees the lead in their dashboard and gets an email alert. They have the first right of refusal — if they're too busy, we re-route it. If they book the job, great. If the lead is unreachable or out of area, we credit the account within 7 days.
